This was the week for that project to be completed. The first skein consisted of 566 yards of a 2 ply yarn measuring 15 WPI out of 7.2 oz of yarn. I currently have the remainder of the yarn on my bobbins to ply. I'm hoping to get another 300 yards for the shawl. Squeal! By tomorrow it will be done...maybe even tonight before I go to bed.
Day 17 was the day of rest...and I did.
CERT Training and we had our monthly meeting and a small graduation class. A total of 11 volunteers (including myself) have been working the last few months to get our training and hours in to become Level 2 CERT. Somewhere (in the wee hours of the early morning) I did manage to spin for a bit. Time was my challenge for yesterday.
Tour de Fleece has been fabulous this year and it ends this weekend. I promise next week...more weaving and maybe some knitting depending on the heat outside. Thank you for visiting. Make sure to link in and share your adventures in Fiber Arts.
